ATKISSON, Esther GRAHAM - Esther Atkisson, nee Graham, was born near Spring Valley, Washington county, Arkansas October 16, 1889. She made her home in that vicinity until about three years ago when she moved to Henrietta, Okla. She was converted at the First Baptist Church at Springdale in October 1913 but had never united with any church. On November 7th, 1913 she was united in marriage to Otto Atkisson of Springdale. To this union were born two children, Marie and Dorothy. Mrs. Atkisson died at her home in Henrietta, Okla. March 24, 1920. The remains were shipped to Springdale and from there kind hands removed the body to the Wilson cemetery, a few miles northeast of Springdale, where she was laid to rest March 27. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.F. Rice of Springdale. Besides her husband and two little children she leaves father, mother, three brothers, R.M., Frank and Otto of Okmulgee, Okla., and one brother, Forrest, of Henrietta, Oklahoma, other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her departure.
