Stanley Berridge
GENTRY (Special) — Funeral services for Stanley Berridge, 70, retired farmer who died Tuesday at his home near Gentry, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Jones, assisted by the Rev. Dennis Jeck. Burial will be in Gentry cemetery under direction of the Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
Mr. Berridge was a native of Martinsville, Ill., and had lived in the Gentry area since 194O. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Stella Berridge of the home; five sons, Stanley of El Paso, Texas, Chester of Sante Fe, N. M., Stannetie of Garfield, N.M., and Albert and Alfred, both of Gentry; a daughter, Mrs. Minta White of Garfield, N. M.: two brothers, Solomon Berridge of Warrensburg, Mo., and Cash Berridge of Las Cruces, N. M.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Stoffer of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs, Clara Smith of Mission, Texas, and Mrs. Kathryn Wickersham of McAllen, Texas; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
