Thursday, December 1, 1927
WALTERS, Philip - Philip Walters, aged 77, died at his home in Rogers last Thursday. Funeral services were held that afternoon at Garfield, Rev. Edwards of the First Christian church of Rogers conducting the services. Interment was made in the Ruddick cemetery. He was born Dec. 13, 1849. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, P.A. Walters of Dallas and E.E. Walters of Tulsa; two daughters, Mrs. H.H. Ruddick of Dallas and Mrs. Frank Johnson of Rogers; two brothers, Will Walters of Garfield and Frank Walters of Clifty, and two sisters, Mrs. Jim Blankenship of Garfield and Mrs. Anna Scott of Rogers.
