George O'Neal
George B. O'Neal, 79, of Garfield, died Wednesday, April 14, at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born July 1, 1913, at Forsyth, Mo. A former resident of Fort Smith, he moved to this area 10 years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Retta Thompson O'Neal; three sons, Lonnie O'Neal of Enumclaw, Wash., Robert Bailey of Kansas City, Mo., James Bailey of Riviera, Ariz.; two daughters, Beverly Hoffman of Enumclaw and Jean Long of Garfield; a brother, Lonnie O'Neal of Kansas City; three sisters, Mary Maurey of Blue Springs, Mo., Lulu Walker of Kansas City and Murel Day of Independence, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Graveside service and burial are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield. Visitation is to be 4-8 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers.
