1872 - March 21, 1960
Joseph Edward Moon;, 88, died March 21, 1960 at his home at 4022 High Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, from a long illness. He had resided in Fort Smith for 37 years where he was a member of the Nazarene church and a retired carpenter.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Ada; six sons; four daughters, Carrie, Eva, Vera and Lola Mae; three brothers; two sisters, Mrs. Richardson and Dora; 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in the First Nazarene church with Rev. Boyd Hancock officiating.

January 19, 1878 - January 14, 1967
Burial was at Sarah Grove cemetery north of Van Buren, Arkansas under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
