Pearl Tanner, 78, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and the widow of Buel Tanner. She belonged to the Assembly of God.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Ocker Memorial Chapel of Van Buren, with burial at Sarah Grove Cemetery near Cedarville.

She is survived by one daughter, Georgia Douglas of Van Buren; one son, Jimmy of Figure Five; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Barney Sherman, Ray Parmenter, Steve and James Tanner, Ronnie Hudson and Jimmy Slusher.
