Edith Tanner, 80, of Alma died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at a local hospital.
She was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Kibler.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Tanner; her parents, Floyd and Della Goodwin; as well as a brother, Bill Goodwin.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Slusher and her husband Jim of Van Buren and Judy Joyce of Kibler; two sons, Larry Tanner and his wife Emma of Van Buren and Gary Tanner of El Dorado; six grandchildren, Trisha Dickens, Sabrina Brumley, Michael Slusher, David Joyce, Jessica Joyce and Julianna Joyce; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Mark Brumley, James Tanner, Keith Dickens, Larry Tanner, Michael Slusher, Danny Goodwin, D.J. Goodwin and Kenny Goodwin.
