FAYETTEVILLE — Cecelia Carolyn Evans, 50, of Fayetteville, Ark, died June 10, 2011, at Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Oct 3. 1960, at Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Jimmy Lee and Linda Carolyn Mitcham Hodges.
She was a real estate appraiser and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Joshua Colton Madewell.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Evans of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Allen and Lucy Madewell of Kingston, Ark., and Carey Lynn Madewell and Amy Bohannan of Fayetteville, Ark.; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Randa and Marty Graham of Springdale, Ark.; her father, Jimmy Hodges of Springdale, Ark.; her mother, Linda Little of Frankston, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee Wesley and Connie Hodges of Greenland, Ark., and Jeffery Lyle and Tina Hodges of Frankston, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rhonda and Mike Whinnery of Hindsville, Ark.; four grandsons, Christopher "Spanky" Madewell of Kingston, Ark., James Graham, Dalton Graham and Keaden Bohannon, all of Springdale, Ark.; four granddaughters, Cylee Madewell of Kingston, Ark., Cynthia Madewell, Kaitlin Madewell and Breanna Bohannan, all of Springdale, Ark.; six nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Colbaugh Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Mike Whinnery, Larry Moeheng, Leon Drain, Tony Madewell, Byron Madewell and Buck Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Watson, Adam Byrd, Christopher "Spranky" Madewell, James Graham, Dalton Graham and Keaden
Bohannan.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Carey Madewell Tragedy Account at any Arvest Bank location.
