Alfred William Wishon, 75, of Hiwasse died Saturday in Bentonville. He was born Oct. 14, 1904 in Glade.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Church of Christ. He lived most of his life in this area and had been a resident of Hiwasse for the last five years.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Copeland Wishon of the home; three sons, J.W. Wishon of Little Flock, Dewey Wishon of St. Charles, Mo., and Clyde Wishon of Sheldon, Mo.; three stepsons, George Maile of Rogers, Frank Maile Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., and Bob Maile of Hiwasse; two daughters, Phillis Williams of San Antonio, Texas and Harriet Phelps of Sheldon, Mo.; two brothers; five sisters; 36 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garfield Church of Christ with Roger Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home.

ROGERS — Nellie Elizabeth Wishon, 96, of Rogers, died April 6, 2007, at a local nursing care center.
She was born May 4, 1910 in Westville, Okla., to Jess Jack and Laney (Pedan) Copeland.
She was raised and educated in Harrison. She was homemaker and worked in the home caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred William Wishon, three children, Robert Maile, Juanita McCoy and Frank Maile Jr., one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, George Maile and wife Josie of Rogers; and two daughters, Phyllis Copper of Rogers, and Harriet Phelps and husband Calvin of Riverside, Calif.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
