Lona Hubbard Moore, retired Levi's seamstress & homemaker, of Adona, passed away May 10th at the age of 90. She was born on July 22nd, 1920 in the Rose Creed community to her parents Marion & Samantha Hubbard. Lona was a lifetime area resident and was uunited in marriage to Elmer Moore. She was a beautiful quilt maker and a member of the Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church.
Lona was preceeded in death by her parents; husband'son: Kermot; granddaugher; Cynthia Moore; two great-granddaughters; Jessica Young, Katarina Moore; three brothers, and one sister. Lona is survived by her son: Delbert Moore (Elzie) of Cherry Hill; Daughter: Alice Spires (John) of Adona.
