Edna Oleda Reece, 81, of Van Buren died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, in her home. She was a homemaker, a member of the Rena Road Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of Crawford County. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Rena Road Church of Christ in Van Buren with burial at Sarah Grove Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. She is survived by her husband, Sherman; four daughters, Rosie Jones, Faye Cain and Mary Tanner, all of Van Buren, and Geneva Vinsant of Dora; three sisters, Dora Hodges and Ellen Stringer, both of Van Buren, and Lois Webb of Campbell, Calif.; two brothers, James Brown of Van Buren and Gene Brown of Joplin, Mo.; and 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sherman and Lester Hopwood, Jimmy Burkhart, James and Allen Hamilton and A.Z. Hudson. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
