Clara Mae Woodruff was born 10 Oct 1891 in Jasper, Newton Co., AR; the daughter of Frank DeWayne & Lizzie Jane Sloan Woodruff. Clara married Roy Olan Dinsmore 4 Dec 1910 in Van Buren, Crawford Co., AR. Roy Olan & Clara Mae had the following children: Hazel Ruth Dinsmore Rogers; Ida Minnie Lea Dinsmore Kirk; Roy Elwood Dinsmore; Riley Eugene Dinsmore; Emma Jane Dinsmore Guy; and Mary Louise Dinsmore Martin.
After the untimely death (diabetes related) of her husband, Roy Dinsmore, Clara worked to support her children. All who knew Gran remember her as a hard working, honest, christian, loving, woman. She was a woman forced to be ahead of the times by the circumstances life brought to her and she handled it with courage & faith.
