Alma Faye Carroll Bruns of Melbourne, daughter of the late Omer Neal and Effie Goodman Neal, was born September 25, 1945 in Harrisburg. She died November 18, 2002 in Cushman. She was 57 years old.
During her working years, she was a cook.
Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Bruns of the home; two sons, Jimmy Bishop and Robert Bishop both of Melbourne; two daughters, Julie Bishop and Laura Bishop both of Arizona; one brother, Omar Neal of Missouri; one sister, Nellie Rogers of Missouri; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, T. M. Hemphill; two sisters, Wanda and Lulu Neal; two brothers, Archie Morse and William Heal; and one son William Bishop.
Graveside services were held November 22, 2002 at Page Cemetery in Newburg with Reverend Wilbanks officiating.
Arrangements were by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
