“Granny Baker” Dorothy N. Baker (Willard), age 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in Mountain Home.
She was born October 30, 1928, in Mountain Home, to Robert B. and Bertha M. Taylor Neel. A lifetime area native, Dorothy was a member of the Quality Ridge Church of Christ, was the owner and operator of the Country Beauty Shop and enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, quilting, cooking and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Because of her deep faith in Christ, Dorothy was a very kind person who touched the lives of many. She had the ability to say just the right thing at the right time.

Survivors are two sons: Jimmy Baker and wife Maria: Mountain Home, and Larry Baker, the Philippines; two daughters: Diane Baker Caples and husband Rick, and Becky Baker and husband Art Roets, all of Mountain Home; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law: Dene Baker: Mountain Home and a sister-in-law: Sharon Baker: Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband: Frank C. Baker; second husband: Doyle Willard; a daughter: Debbie Baker; a granddaughter: Angie Baker; two brothers and four sisters.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Conley Cemetery with Brother Roger Pittaway officiating.

Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quality Ridge Church of Christ Building Fund.
