Susie "Sue" Purvis, 87, of Springdale, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1993 at her home. She was born at Swain on May 16, 1905, to Joe Thomas and Gertrude Williams Thomas.
She married Charles Purvis Sept. 7, 1983.
Purvis was a member of the Wide World Church of God.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Joe Franks of Gentry, Buddy Franks of Gravette, Jack Franks of Rogers and Martin Franks of Joplin, Mo.; three daughters, Helen Ketner of Lee's Summit, Mo., Shirley Barron of Springdale, Edith Waterman of Eldridge, Mo.; and a sister, Viola Beasley of Tulsa; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wilson Cemetery.
Burial will be at Wilson Cemetery, by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
