MRS. SUE GOODWIN, DIES AT SHERMAN
Wife of Arkansas Congressman Succumbs in Texas City.
Special to the Gazette (Sherman, Texas, April 11, 1914
Mrs. Sue Goodwin, 45 years old, wife of Congressman ,W. S. Goodwin, of the Seventh Arkansas congressional district,
died here, this morning after a brief illness. . Mrs. Goodwin, who was Miss Sue Meek of Warren, Ark., before her marriage
in 1897, was visiting here. Accompanied by her husband and children and Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Long of this city, the body
was sent this afternoon to Warren, Ark., where the funeral will be conducted Monday. Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her
husband, one son and one daughter and two brothers, S. B. Meek and W. R. Meek, both of Warren.
