WARREN -- Hazel Rodgers Stedman, 102, of Warren, died Thursday at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Drew County, a daughter of the late George Daniel Rodgers and Nancy Ardella Senn Rodgers. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son; three daughters; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by, on Nov. 22, 1966, her husband, John Wesley Stedman, whom she married on Dec. 15, 1920; one son, Wilburn Stedman; two daughters, Vada Lavern Cornish and Opal Reece Stedman; two brothers, Robert Troy Rodgers and William Roy Rodgers; four sisters, Gennie Smith, Lillian Tillman, Leoda Johnson and Mable Lowry; her stepmother, Bula Rice Rodgers; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Sunday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will be in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter.
