Mrs. Langston Dies at Home Here Tuesday
Mrs. Ellen Zora Langston, aged 67, died at her home at this place, Tuesday morning, February 15, following an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Mrs. Joe Swilling and Rev. W. T. Watson, were held at Pleasant Grove, Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with the Roller Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Langston was born and reared in this county. The greater part of her life was spent near Wideman. She was married to Henry Jones of that vicinity, at the age of 15, Mr. Jones preceded her in death by 33 years. Sixteen years ago she was married to Henry B. Langston of Calico Rock.
Deceased was converted at the age of 12 and united with the Methodist Church. About six years ago she united with the Assembly of God Church. She remained a devout Christian throughout her life.
Surviving are her husband; one son, one daughter, 33 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
