Mrs. J. W. Pearson Dies Suddenly at Oxford
Mrs. India Pearson, about 73 years of age, life-long resident of Izard County, wife of Jas. W. Pearson, died at her home at Oxford, Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Deceased was well known in this section and was loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends and relatives. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
The funeral will be held at Oxford today, Friday, interment to be in Oxford Cemetery.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons and two daughters – Floy of Ft Smith, Ark., Harold of Batesville, Borden of Melbourne and Otis Pearson of Brockwell; Mrs. Bertie Helm and Mrs. Amy Melton of Oxford.
