John M. Priddy, 91 of Locust Bayou, died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born in Texas, and came to Locust Bayou at an early age and settled there as a farmer. He was a member of the Locust Bayou Church of Christ. Mr. Priddy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy E. Priddy; six sons, Mike, Burl Priddy and Oran Priddy, all of Camden, J. D. Priddy of Bastrop, La., Cleo and Gerald Priddy both of Locust Bayou; four daughters, Mrs. Willa Mae Reddin and Mrs. Onnye Newton of Hampton; Mrs. Estelle O'Mary of Pine Bluff, and Mrs. Hilda Russell of Camden; 19 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. sat Locust Bayou Church of Christ with burial in Plunkett Cemetery. Camden Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
