SPRINGDALE — Kenneth Carl Main, 78, of Springdale died Jan. 18, 1996, at Springdale. He was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Lowell to Samuel and Jeanatta Roberts Main. He was a farmer, a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church of Lowell and was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Main of the home; one son, the Rev. Bobby Main of Springdale; two daughters, Betty Lane and Debbie Wood, both of Springdale; two brothers, Wayne Main and Delmar Main, both of Lowell; one sister, Mary Youngman of Springdale; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale with the Rev. Bobby Main officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery at Lowell.

Pallbearers will be Rick Lane, Kenny Lane, Kevin Lane, Jason Main, Charles Savage and Michael Wood.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SPRINGDALE — Walcie Frances Main, 91, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at the Maples Nursing Home in Springdale. Frances was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Wagoner, Okla., a daughter of Henry Sampson Mashburn and Jimmie Robirds Mashburn.

She was widow of the late, Kenneth Carl Main, whom she married June 8, 1946, and preceded her in death in 1996.

Frances was a dedicated homemaker and worked for several years as a custodian in the Springdale Schools, where she earned several awards during her tenure. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Bethel Heights. Frances was also receded in death by her parents, son, Kenneth Gene Main, great-granddaughter Anna Faith Day; brothers and sisters Geroge, Ahma Lou, H.N., James, Jerry, Ed and Pat.

She is survived by daughter Betty Lane and husband Danny of Springdale; son Bobby Main and wife Sharon of Springdale; daughter Debbie Wood and husband Greg of Gentry; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; sister Ludean Prim of Lowell; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, from 5-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Gospel Tabernacle in Bethel Heights on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at 10 p.m. Rev. Bobby Main and Brother Michael Wood will officiate the services. Burial will be at the Phillips Cemetery in Bethel Heights under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
