Collene England Scoggin, age 80, of Batesville, Arkansas died Sunday July 25 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born October 9, 1929 in Hoxie, Arkansas to Jerene Bone and Jessie Jackson England. She was a member of the Jesus is the Way church in Magness, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Wesley England. Collene is survived by four sons: Billy Scoggin of Batesville, Steve Scoggin of Tallahassee, Florida, Tim Scoggin of Hutchinson Mountain, Arkansas and Ricky Scoggin of Hutchinson Mountain, Arkansas. A daughter, Lisa K. Brinker of Batesville, Arkansas. A sister, Joy (and Charles) Bogue of Calhoun, Georgia. Two brothers: Gene (and Faye)England of Southside, Arkansas and Gaylon (and Margaret) England of Southside, Arkansas. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.

Pallbearers are: Paul Savage, Joey Scoggin, Bill Scoggin, Jr., Wesley Scoggin, Jimmy Scoggin, and Devon England. Honorary pallbearers are: Junior Maxwell, David Brinker, Charles Bogue, Johnny England, Denver Lamons, Bobby Joe England, Bro. Kenneth Altom and Dr. Greg Neaville and staff.
