Edith Marie Herron Storms, 71, of Floral passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Edith was born to Connie Clarance Herron and Ida Elsie Evans Herron on August 16, 1933 in the Hutchinson Community. Mrs. Storms worked at the First National Bank in Little Rock for 17 years and she also worked for the First National Bank of Batesville. She was a member of the Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ. Her husband, Monroe Storms, survives her. She is also survived by her Aunts, Jesse H. Geiger of DuQuion, Illinois, Verna Lea Clark of the Hutchinson Mountain Community, Marcella King, also of the Hutchinson Mountain Community, and Carman Liska; her Uncles, Denver Lamons of Pleasant Plains, Floyd Evans of Batesville and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and both sets of grandparents, her Aunts, Edith Evans and Nola McGough. Pallbearers will be Cole Samples, Jessie Reynolds, Stephen Cox, Bill Grady, Nathan Ramsey, and Tillman Mitchell. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Shrum. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ with John Wilkins officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Burial will be at the Palestine Cemetery in the Hutchinson Mountain Community under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. (870) 793-4161.
