Marley Clifton Thomas, aged 66, of Floral, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born in Black Oak, Ark., was a farmer and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie May Thomas of the home; three sons, R. C. Thomas of Birch Run, Mich., Allen Clifton Thomas of Centerville, Ark., and Gale W. Thomas of Floral; five daughters, Mrs. Freeman Martin of Batesville; Miss Patsy Ruth Thomas of LaPort, Ind., Mrs. Paul Petty of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Jerry Strother of Floral and Mrs. Terri Page of Newport; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Thomas of Jacksonville; 15 grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Omer Thomas of Jacksonville and two sisters; Mrs. Pearl Snyder of Newark and Mrs. Emma Nell Horner of Jacksonville.
Pallbearers were Jess Hayes, Johnny Thomas, Bill Elumbaugh, Howard Combs, Floyd Frazier and B. L. Brown.
