CLARKSVILLE - Jimmy Clardy Wright, 59, of Lamar died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

He was a teacher and coach, and a member and deacon of East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church. The highlight of his career was coaching the state championship baseball team at Scranton in 2001. His hobbies included watching Razorback football, baseball, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, S.J. Wright.


Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Wright; a son, Douglas Wright and wife, Kelli, of Clarksville; a daughter, Porsha Russell and husband, Jason, of Coal Hill; his mother, Mildred Davis Wright of Van Buren; a sister, Joyce Hartsfield of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Noah Wright and Tanner Russell.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church with Robby Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Holman Cemetery at Lamar by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Carolyn Jeanette Wright, 62, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at her home.

She was a native of Clarksville, retired Clarksville Public School teacher, member of the retired teachers association and East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church, daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Crotts, and widow of Jimmy Wright.

She is survived by one daughter, Porsha Russell and husband, Jason, of Ozark; one son, Douglas Wright and wife, Kelli, of Clarksville; one sister, Linda Pye and husband, Quentin, of Weatherford, Okla.; three brothers, Kenneth Crotts of Lamar, Mitchell Crotts and wife, Connie, of Waldron, and Robert Crotts and wife, Dena, of Tampa, Fla
