Died June 8, 2010, Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.
Son of Olen Hershel & Edna Elnora Smith Wray.
White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, June 17, 2010:
Walter Robert Wray of Calico Rock, son of the late Olen Hershel Wray and Edna Elnora Smith Wray was born June 22, 1948 at Bexar, AR.
He died June 8, 2010 at Community Medical Center of Izard County in Calico Rock, at the age of 61 years 11 months and 17 days.
He was a Christian man who always had a smile on his face and friends gathered around.
He loved to fish.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Ida Lee Jeffery and husband Curtis of Kansas City, MO., Marie Marshall and husband Dale of Tupelo, Ok., Lena Gay Chandler of Calico Rock, one brother, Norman Wray and wife Judy of Salem and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nadine Wray and his father and mother.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Calico Rock and burial was at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
