WILLIAM BLACK
William Black, 81, Rt. 1, Rogers, died Dec. 9 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 13, 1895, at the farm where he was living at the time of his death, he was the son of James and Margaret Thomas Black, a farmer and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel Owen Black of the home; one son, Billy Ray Black, Rosamond, Calif.; one brother, Robert Black, Harrison; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Paul Farley and the Rev. John Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns.
