WILLINGHAM, John Smart - John Smart Willingham, 55 years old, widely known carpenter and cabinet builder, died at his home at 122 North Sixth street at 2 a.m. Monday following a long illness. Mr. Willingham had been an invalid for several years but had been critically ill for the last three months. He was born at Bentonville and spent his entire life in Benton county. Funeral services were held from the home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Conner Morehead, pastor of Central Methodist church officiating and the Rev. Oscar Ingold, minister of the First Christian church, assisting. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge. Mr. Willingham is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Willingham and one daughter, Kathryn, and four sisters, Mrs. Billie Wardlow, Mrs. W.B. Kennan, Mrs. Isaac Woodruff and Mrs. Charles Hayes.
