Marie Troutman, 86 of North Little Rock was born in Faulkner County, Arkansas on May 13, 1922. She passed away August 6, 2008 at Robinson Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil Fulmer and Cordelia McPherson Fulmer, her husband of 55 years Frank Troutman and son Dennis Troutman. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church for over 45 years and was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church at the time of her death.
She is survived by her sister in law of 69 years, Mattie Troutman Perry; Son Ricky Troutman and family, wife Sherry, their son Mike, and daughter Laura Wedeman and husband Jay. Daughter Janet Troutman Ward and family, husband John, daughter Johna. Daughter in law Denise Troutman and family, daughters Karen Dedmon, Kim Baker and husband David, Melody Sharp, Christi Flannery and husband Sean, and son Frankie Troutman and wife Tyke. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was active in church all of her life, sewing at the quilting club at church for over 20 years, she also volunteered as a cook at Teen Challenge of Arkansas. She loved to cook and was a great Mom and Mamaw to all. She was soft spoken, and quiet but with a core of steel that we all leaned on. She will be greatly missed and all the lives she touched will never be the same.
