PEA RIDGE — Eugene Vansandt, 88, of Pea Ridge died Feb. 29, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Aug. 9, 1919, in the Corinth community north of Garfield, to Claud and Lille Williams Vansandt.
He had a passion for horses and enjoyed bluegrass music. He was a member of Pea Ridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen, and a sister Virgie Beaver of Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4-6 p.m. at the Sisco Funeral Chapel of Pea Ridge.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pea Ridge Church of Christ with Malcom Scott officiating. Burial will be held at Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Southern Christian Home, P.O. Box 649 Morrilton. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
