DEASON, Allie - (from The Rogers Republican) Mrs. Allie Deason, wife of Jerry Deason, living 21/2 miles north of Rogers, died Tuesday evening March 13 from a stroke of paralysis, age 34 years. She leaves a husband and six children, 3 boys and 3 girls, the eldest being 15 years of age and the youngest 4 years. Mrs. Deason was born and raised in Benton county and joined the Baptist church at Pleasant Hill 13 years ago but at the time of her death was a member of the Baptist church in this city. It was only Saturday that she was in town and was in reasonably good health and her death is indeed a shock to the entire community. The funeral exercises were held at Oakley Chapel by Rev. Voyles at 3 p.m. Wednesday after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. We extend sympathy to friends and relatives.

DEASON, Allie PIERCE - Mrs. Allie Pierce Deason was born in Lamar county, Texas February 26th, 1866. Died at her home 21/2 miles north of Rogers from that dread disease, paralysis, after a brief illness March 13th, 1900. She was married to J.M. Deason January 13th, 1884. To this union were born six children, 3 girls and 3 boys, all of whom, together with the husband and aged mother, survive her. She professed faith in Christ while young and was a member of Rogers Baptist church at the time of death. Mrs. Deason was a Christian woman; a model mother, companion and a sweet spirited Christian woman whose place is hard to fill. The funeral sermon was preached by her pastor, Rev. M.L. Voyles at Oakley's Chapel March 14th, 1900 and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery there.
