Albert Wayne Childers (Bud), 74, of Cabot, AR, went to be with our Lord and Savior, October 21, 2020. He served in the US Marine Corps from 63-67 and with 1st BN/9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam reaching the rank of Corporal. Awards include: Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam- Gallantry Cross, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Certificate of Commendation- two awards, and Rifle Expert Badge.
He was a kind hearted person who enjoyed casinos, horse races, watching movies, spending time with family, and traveling. He was a lifelong Arkansas Razorback fan.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 yrs, Reda Carol Childers; parents, William Albert Childers and Louise Traffanstedt; in-Laws, Cecil and Willie McGinty; his brother, James Childers, and sisters, Jimmye Redmond and Martha McGinty.
He is survived by his children, Angela Clavey (David), Sandy White (Roger), Darrell Childers, Tammy Childers and Stephanie Childers; 8 Grandchildren, Kyra Clavey, Misty Stafford (Corey), Chris 'Nikki' White, Brittanie Carson (Jimmy), Kaitlyn Childers, Shayla McPherson, Dayden Colton and Zara Childers; 5 great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Kaelynn and Kameron Stafford and Bradley and Wyatt Carson; and many extended family and friends.
He will be cremated and a Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation will be handled by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.

Reda Carol McGinty Childers, 63, of Cabot, went to be with our Lord on February 23, 2011.
She was born January 18th, 1948 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Cecil and Willie McGinty. She is also preceded in death by in laws Albert Childers and Louise Traffanstedt.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Reda enjoyed sewing, cooking, drawing, singing and dancing. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Albert “Bud”; children, Angela (Dave) Clavey, Sandy (Roger) White, Darrell (Stephanie) Childers and Tammy Childers; grandchildren, Kyra Clavey, Misty White (Preston) Powell, Chris “Nikki” White, Brittanie and Kaitlyn Childers, Shayla McPherson, Dayden Colton and Zara Childers; great-granddaughter, Kaidence Powell; siblings, Dalton (Martha) McGinty, Mary Rickett, Geanie Wickliffe, Landel (Glenda) McGinty, Danny (Betty) McGinty, Arnold (Joanne) McGinty, Diane (Ted) Frizzell and Darrell (Anita) McGinty; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
