SPRINGDALE
Buell D. "Dick" Yeager, 81, of Springdale died March 22, 2000 at his home. He was born April 27, 1918, in Calvin, Okla., to Wiliam J. and Lelia A. Hickerson Yeager.

He moved to Springdale in 1935 and was employed by Jones Truck Lines until his retirement.

He served in the Seabees during World War II and was a member of Berry Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine.

Survivors include two sisters, Leota Dillard of the Habberton community and Maybell Martin of Springdale.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Richard Perry and the Rev. Dan Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Joe Yeager, Wayne Graham, Billy Graham, Paul Dixon, Jim Dillard, Doug Martin, Chris Martin and Gene Ingram.

Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Graham, Orville Taylor, George Keener, Jerry Stamps, J.D. Nelson, Jack Thomas, Richard Naylor and Charles Glass.

Memorials may be made to Berry Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 320 N. Berry St., Springdale, 72764.
