Ralph Chambers
Ralph E. Chambers, 82, of Rogers died Sunday, Dec. 27 at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born Oct. 28, 1910, to Ben Chambers and Susan Pendergraft Chambers. He had lived in this area for the last 30 years, moving from Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erna Kolby Chambers, in 1989.
Survivors are seven sons, Charles, Norman and Kevin Chambers, all of Rogers, Larry Chambers of Bonham, Texas, Kenneth Chambers of Garfield, Steve Chambers of Elliott, Iowa, and Jon Chambers of Avoca; four daughters, Verna Lea McClain of Rogers, Vinetta Shinkle of Springfield, Ore., Verla Adair of Malvern, Iowa, and Mary Adams of Red Oak, Iowa; and many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Buttram Chapel Cemetery, Pea Ridge. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers. No visitation is scheduled.
