JIM MOREN
Jim Moren, 87, 201 Maple Ave., Springdale, died Dec.4 in a Rogers nursing home. Born June 13, 1888, at Huntsville, he was the son of Elisha and Sarah Sampson Moren, a member of Pleasant Street Church of Christ and a retired farmer. He moved to Springdale from Cave Springs in 1951.

Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Clea (Kate) Nivens, Clear Lake, Calif., Mrs. Faye Fechtler and Mrs. Keith (Ardath) Samuel, Springdale, Mrs. Howard (Marie) Haas, Roseburg, Ore., Mrs. Lee Mixon, Fullerton, Calif., Mrs. Phil (Dorothea) Donner, Monte Vista, Colo., and Mrs. Elmo (Ruth) Samuel, Paris, Tex.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Sisco Chapel.

Frances Moren, 80, of Springdale died March 14 at her home. Born Jan. 10, 1893 in Madison County, she was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James W. Moren of the home; seven daughters, Mrs. Kate Nivens of Linwood, Calif., Mrs. Fay Fechtler and Mrs. Ardath Samuel, both of Springdale, Mrs. Dotha Bonner of Monte Vista, Calif., Mrs. Marie Hass of Roseburg, Ore., Mrs. Lea Mixon of Fullerton, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Samuel of Paris, Tex.; one brother, Fred King of Fullerton, Calif.; six half-sisters, including Mrs. Vesta Combs of Springdale; her step-mother, Mrs. Esther King of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale with burial in Cave Springs Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Service.
