Decatur - Jenkin James, 78, of Decatur died Saturday at Siloam Springs. Born Dec. 4, 1898 in Wales, England, he was a retired plumbing contractor. He moved to Northwest Arkansas from Denver Colo. seven years ago.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Perkins James of the home: and two sisters, Miss Gwen James and Miss Mary James of Greeley, Colo.

Funeral service under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.

DECATUR — Eva Marie Corey, 101, of Decatur died April 4, 2011. at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab in Siloam Springs.

She was born Aug. 2, 1909, in Decatur to Henry and Lena Collins Perkins. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur, a Sunday school teacher and active in the Woman's Missionary Union.

Survivors include a stepson, Orlin Corey and wife Shirley of New Orleans; two sisters, Margaret Cone of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Alberta Tohm of Calimesa, Calif.; and a step-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery.
