CAVE SPRINGS — Rachel R. Cousins, 86, of Cave Springs died June 10, 2006, in Springdale. She was born April 20, 1920, in Baldwin to Harry Paul and Rose Jordon Beatty. She married Ponder Cousins on Sept. 17, 1937. They owned and operated a farm in the Cave Springs area.

She was preceded in death by her husband. one daughter, two sons, and three grandchildren.

Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Freeman and husband Ralph of Springdale, Peggy E. Brunton and husband Robert of Wichita, Kan., B. Kay McCutcheon and husband Donnie of Gravette, Beverly A. Howerton and husband Dale of Pea Ridge; three sons, B. Everett Cousins and wife Hazel of Huntsville, Carl E. Cousins of Springdale and Jimmy L Cousins and wife Phyllis of Cave Springs; one brother, Paul Eugene Beatty of Wichita; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Cave Springs with the Rev. Marvin Loyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cave Springs.
