BENTONVILLE — Harold James McKee, 89, of Bentonville died Jan. 27, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Tulsa, Okla., to Charles M. and Etta M. Marler McKee.

Harold was a truck driver and mechanic for several companies, including Schmieding Produce, Zero Mountain Cold Storage, E.L. Reddish Trucking and he was a mechanic for Bell International. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was awarded American Defense Service Ribbon with Bronze Star, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Service Ribbon, two Purple Heart Medals, the Victory Medal Distinguished Unit Badge, with Oak Leaf Cluster, Philippine Defense Service Ribbon with Bronze Star; he was POW for three years and four months in Japan. He was 25-year volunteer for the Goshen Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Delela Harvey McKee on May 29, 2000, to whom he was married Feb. 23, 1946; three grandchildren, Raye Ann Bell, Ginger Marsh and Juston McKee.

Survivors include two sons, Randy McKee and wife, Betty, of Springdale and Rick McKee of Ozark, Ark.; four daughters, Sharon Bell of Bentonville, Donna Perry and husband, Bob, of Decatur, Ark, Patty Marsh and husband, Darrell, of Cave Springs, Ark, and Rhonda Stith of Springdale; 13 grandchildren, Chuck Bell, Tammy Taylor, Terry Bell, Jamie Bell, Amy Miles, Kelly Adams, Julie Ivy, Jennifer Hunt, Angela Bilderback, Christie
McKee, Joshua McKee, Michael McKee and Leanna Jones; 25 great-grandchidren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan, 29, 2011, at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs with the Rev. Johnny Harp officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Private interment services will be heId at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.

SPRINGDALE — Deleta Alta McKee, 76, of Springdale died May 29, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Aurora to Dallas and Gladys Markham Harvey.

Survivors include her hushband, Harold McKee of the home, to whom she was married Feb. 24, 1946; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy McKee and Betty of Springdale and Rick McKee and Kay of Ozark; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Sharon Bell and Cecil of Siloam Springs, Donna Perry and Bob of Decatur, Pat Marsh and Darrell of Cave Springs and Rhonda Stith of Lowell; five brothers, Ernest Harvey of Brewster, Wash., Dallas Harvey Jr. of
Omak, Wash., Harold Harvey of Okanogan, Wash., Vernon Harvey of Mallott, Wash., and Donald Harvey of Omak; one sister, Linda Kay
Watts of Riverside, Wash.; 16 grandchildren;
20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Pat Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
