Daughter of Simpson and Sntoinette "Antanet" Moreland Kersey
Margaret's father, Simpson Kersey was killed in the Civil War at the Battle of Sharpsburg (Antietam) on 17 Sep 1862. Private Kersey served with the 31st Georgia Infantry, Company K, for the CSA. Margaret's sister was Martha F Kersey Phillips. Margaret married William Wade "Billy" Morgan. Their children were James R Morgan, Curtis Baley Morgan, Margaret M. Morgan Kaylor, William S. Morgan, Jess L Morgan, John E Morgan.
