Mrs Henry Elizabeth Carey, 65, wife of W G Carey, died Friday, March 25 at her home in Wilmar. She was born March 5, 1884. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Beside the husband there survive: Three sons, D G Carey, Wilmar, John C Carey, Buford, South Carolina, & O V Carey, Butte Montana; five daughters, Mrs Myrtle Rhodes, Pine Bluff, Mrs Thelma Jackson, Camden, Mrs Buck Grant, Liberty, Texas, Mrs LeRoy Rhodes, Wilmar, & Mrs. Geneva Lydy, Oceanside, California; two half-sisters, Mrs Ethel Morris, Banks, & Mrs Pearl Griffin, Little Rock. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 at the 16th Cemetery in Drew County. The Reverend Mr Hesselbean of Monticello officiated.
