ROCKY COMFORT, Mo. -- Billy Jack Merriman, 62, of Rocky Comfort died Dec. 17, 1995, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Missouri. He was born Aug. 7, 1933, at Carthage, Mo., to Jack E. and Rozetta F. Holliday Merriman. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart, a diesel mechanic, a construction worker and a farmer. He was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Merriman of the home; four sons, Douglas Merriman of Kansas, Charles Merriman of Missouri, Lorence Merriman of Missouri and Tim Dillow of Missouri; four daughters, Lynne Fogle of California, Denise Faidley of Missouri, Leslie Merriman of Arkansas and Becky Merriman of Missouri; one brother, Clyde Gann of Kansas; two sisters, Imogene Jones of Bentonville and Joann Elam of Rogers; 19 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Centerton Full Gospel Church with Carl Craig and Robert Ward officiating. Burial will be in Coffelt Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednsday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m.

POWELL, Mo.-- Carol J. Merriman, 74, of Powell, Mo., formerly of Bentonville, died Aug. 17, 2011.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn.
