J.S. Garrett, who lived four miles northwest of Rogers in the Little Flock neighborhood, died last Thursday and is survived by his wife and several children. They are newcomers in this county. Burial was Friday at Little Flock.

Rogers --- Mrs. Cora Emma Garrett, 87, died Wednesday at the Gravette Medical Center. Born march 15, 1884 in Lawrence County, she moved with her family to the Lowell community 70 years ago. She was a member of the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Paul of Gravvette, Earl of Rogers, Asa And Hassel, both of Lowell; tow daughters, Mrs. Paul Wight of Centerton and Mrs. Ruby Dempsey of Dimmitt, Tex.; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at the Little Flock Church Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with burial in the Little Flock Cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
