Obituary
Lillian Ruth Baker Byrum, 75, a resident of Russellville, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 26, 1934, at Moreland to Herman Edward and Donie Mae Stevenson Baker. She was a former property manager, was retired from Wildflower Retirement Residence as a personal care aide, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Darrel T. Byrum.
Survivors include her husband, J. D. Byrum of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Allen and Barbara Byrum of Russellville; a sister, Jennetta Head of Bossier City, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Jerusalem with the Rev. Bobby Biggers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
