Lois L. Grove of Melbourne, the daughter of the late William and Mrytle Boren Petago was born October 11, 1914 at Tupelo, Mississippi. She died March 5, 1999. She was 84.
Mrs. Grove was united in marriage to Harold D. Grove in November 1962, at Blytheville. She was a member of Melbourne Church of Christ.
Survivors include four daughters, Melledean Feir of Tacoma, Washington; Erma Dean Cross of Mountain Grove, Missouri; Anna Louise Miller of Reliance, Tennessee; and Melody Grove of Melbourne; one brother, Olan Petago of Mount Olive; one sister, Mary Faye Turnbow, of Liverpool, Texas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son.
Funeral services were March 8, 1999 at Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne with Reverend Glen Green officiating. Pallbearers were Mitchell Miller, James Miller, David Anthony Cross, Dale Whitfield, David Clark and Don “Super” Caraway.
Burial was at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
