Arlis Edward George, 60, of Springdale, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at Springdale. Born June 17, 1933, at Alabam, the son of Damon and Dora George, he was a member of the Oak Grove Full Gospel Church and a retired truck driver with Steele Canning Company.
Survivors are his wife, Joyce Watts George of Springdale; his parents of Springdale; a daughter, Tammy Tucker of Elm Springs; five brothers, Charles, Howard, Ronald and Johnny George, all of Springdale, and Lenard George of Ozark; and three sisters, Seletha Bilderback of Fayetteville, Juanita Westbrook of Springdale and Brenda Taylor of Rogers.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Calvin Bilderback officiating, with burial in Sonora Cemetery, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
