Mrs. Mintie Mae White, 78, of Crossett died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was a native of Ashley County, a homemaker and a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God.
Survivors include four daughters, Gay and husband Donnie Watt, Ruthie Bardin, Ester White and Kinda and husband Derrick Williams, all of Crossett; two brothers, Adrian McClain of El Dorado and Rufus McClain of Hamburg; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert "Shortie" White; her parents, Rufus and Fannie Mae Pace Burns; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Chase and Faith Fleming. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4, in the Cloverdale Assembly of God with Bro. Justin Uselton officiating. Pallbearers were Richard E. Watt, Donnie M. Watt, Randall B. Watt, Jimmy B. Bardin, Hubert Bardin and Michael McClain. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery with arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
