Leigh Granville Tanger son of Frank Tanger and Nellie (Ackerman) Tanger. Lillie Armitage (Swaim) Tanger daughter of Joseph Shoemaker Swaim and Lillie Armitage Swaim. Lillie born in Canada and died in Arkansas. Leigh born Rochester, Monroe County, New York died in Arkansas.

Leigh Granville Tanger, 76, of Pineville, a retired heating and vent engineer, died Monday.
Tanger was a veteran of World War II, a Mason, a member of Shirley Ingersoll Branch of Baxter County Poets. A member of Cleveland Cival War Round Table and was an Episcopalian.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Thursday at Howard Funeral Home, Calico Rock. The body will be cremated.
Burial will be in the Trimble Campground Cemetery, Dolph. Survivor is a sister, Miss Helen H Tanger of Mountain Home.

Leigh Granville Tanger, 76 of Pineville died Monday (Feb 16).
Formerly of Rochester, N.Y., Mr Tanger was a retired heating and ventilating engineer.
Mr. Tanger was born July 20, 1910 at Rochester. He was a Mason and a member of the Shirley Ingersoll Branch of Baxter County Poets and of the Cleveland Civil War Roundtable. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Episcopal Church.
Mr. Tanger is survived by his sister, Helen H. Tanger of Mountain Home. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Nellie Ackerman Tanger and by his wife Lillie Tanger.
Memorial services were Thursday at Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Calico Rock with the Rev. Wayne Wood officiating. Interment was at Trimble Campground Cemetery in Izard County.

Memorial services for Lillie Swaim Tanger will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Calico Rock. Mrs. Tanger, 73 of Pineville died Aug. 28.
She was retired secretary and a member of the Christian Scientists at Mountain Home.
Survivors include her husband, Leigh Tanger of Pineville; three sisters, Dorothy Willis of Squiem, Wash., Jane Pease of New York and Gloria Williams of Stafford, N.Y.
Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
