FARMINGTON — Jack Cloughly, age 79, of Farmington, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was born Nov. 15, 1931 at County Line, Okla., the son of Marion Francis and Mattie Willingham Cloughly.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Cloughly, who was killed in the Korean War and a sister, Marie Cloughly.
He was a retired accountant at First Federal Savings and a member of Cross Church in Springdale where he enjoyed singing in the choir.
He is survived by his wife, LaNita Cloughly; three daughters, Sue Morse of Prairie Grove, Linda Burnett & her husband Larry of Fayetteville and Tina Cloughly of Prairie Grove; two sons, Jim Cloughly & his wife Cathy of Charlotte, N.C., and Bobby Cloughly II & his wife Dana of Springdale; a sister, Mildred Johnson of Yukon, Okla., and a brother, Ernest Cloughly of San Marcos, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4 at Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church and interment will be in Burkshed Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 210 N. Walton Blvd., Suite 25, Bentonville, AR 72712.

LaNita Aline Cloughly, age 86, passed away at her home on October 7, 2019. She was born on September 29, 1933, in Oklahoma, to Joe Lafayette and Aline (Campbell) Thompson. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Cloughly; her daughter, Tina Cloughly; and her brother, Len Thompson.
LaNita had a deep love of music and for the world around her. She enjoyed crocheting as a hobby. Most of all, she loved children and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children, Sue Morse of Prairie Grove, Jim Cloughly and wife Cathy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Linda Burnett and husband Larry of Fayetteville, and Bobby Cloughly and wife Dana of Springdale; two brothers, Joe and William Thompson; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Hindsville. Interment to follow at Burkshed Cemetery in Hindsville.
