HUST, James Francis - (from The Rogers Democrat) James Francis Hust died at his home west of Bentonville, near Mitchell's Springs, last Saturday after a nine days sickness of pneumonia. His remains were interred in Barron cemetery, 12 miles west of this place Monday. Only a few days previous his mother died of the same complaint and just a short time before his brother-in-law, Tom Holland, fell victim to the same disease, making three deaths in the family from pneumonia in less than three weeks. Mr. Hust leaves a wife and six little children to mourn and much sympathy is expressed for them in their sad affliction.

James Francis Hust was born in Montgomery county, Tennessee January 9th, 1858 and died at his residence six miles west of Bentonville. He was converted in Humphreys county, Tennessee in 1867 and joined the M.E. Church, South of which he remained a faithful member until death. While but a youth he moved with his parents to this State and has always proven himself a faithful citizen. He was married to Miss Sallie Holland in March 1886. To this union there are seven children, all of whom are still living. Bro. Hust was a true and faithful husband, a loving and painstaking father. When he came to die he was ready to do even this well. When his sister, Mrs. Kelton, would remind him of his large family of small children and how they would need him he replied: "The Lord will take care of my wife and children because he has promised." As a christian, husband, father, brother, citizen and neighbor he will be greatly missed. W.P. Hamilton.
