Ollie Belle Allen, 60, of Crossett died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Ashley County Medical Center. She was a native of Parkdale but had lived in Crossett for the past 43 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Rolfe Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Johnny Allen; three sons, Robert D. Allen and wife Sheila, Donald E. Allen and wife Elaine and Calvin P. Allen and wife Angela, all of Crossett; two brothers, Sam David Curran and wife Patsy of Hamburg and J. W. Curran of Hamburg; three sisters, Faye Turner of Tampa, FL, Mary Lois Curran of Lebanon, MO, and Louise Bell of Hodge, LA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Sally Curran; two brothers, Melvin and Elvin Curran; and one sister, Hazel Milligan. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 30, at 2 p.m. at Rolfe Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton White officiating. Burial was at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Pallbearers were Kevin Curran, Steve Childers, Keith Curran, Jerry Buckner, Marty Phillips and Willie Brown. Honorary pallbearer was Ricky Middlebrooks.
